SHARING MY OWN HAPPY EPISODE

THE BRIGHTER SIDE OF THE STORY- SHARING MY OWN HAPPY EPISODE

A VERY NEW ONE TO THE FIELD OF CIRCLES…

Okay so this is my very first blog post in which I have tried to share a little experience, an experience gained while experimenting my pen through the patterns of Mandala. It was in the month of July 2020 during the lockdown period when my cousin rang me up to inform about a workshop to be conducted by one of her friends on the basics of Mandala art. Though I may not excel in a certain field, but yes I do keep some desire and curiosity to learn about the different art forms that exist but to speak the truth I always kept the decision on a pause thinking it will consume some time of my study hours. But this time I decided to join the workshop and learn about this art form. Accordingly I joined the online workshop conducted and it really proved to be a decision worth taking, an experience worth sharing. I have always heard that Mandalas are the instruments of meditation but was never into its practice. But after attending the three days workshop session I could say  that yes it is extremely true. In the workshop we were trained about how the measurement needs to be taken to draw the circles and place the different patterns in a systematic and uniform manner in the circles, i.e. the correct use of protractors, compass etc. While engaging myself in the Mandala works I have come across the various benefits that Mandala works might provide, I was able to properly maintain balance in my life and concentrate better in various aspects. It kept me so engaged that I could keep aside all my frustrations and negative thoughts that arises in my mind and explore my creativity aspects. So yes it was an wonderful experience to learn about the basics of Mandala. I practiced it on paper and I am in hope to try the other forms of Mandala too whenever time permits.

Looking forward to explore more on the different forms of Mandala !
